Hi there! My name is João Frederico, and I am a fine artist and illustrator based in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. I am passionate about creating beautiful, inspiring artwork that captures the essence of the world around us.

Growing up, I was always fascinated by the power of art to communicate complex ideas and emotions. Some of my favorite artists include Diego Velázquez, Ilya Repin, Joaquín Sorolla, John Singer Sargent, and Mikhail Nesterov, whose works have inspired me to push the boundaries of my own creativity.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of studying under some truly talented teachers who have helped me hone my craft and refine my skills. Their guidance and expertise have been invaluable to me as I’ve pursued my passion for art.

When I’m not busy in the studio, you can usually find me reading a book at a cafe, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or spending time with my family and friends.
